LA MONSTERRATO 2023: THE COMPLETE PROGRAMME
– The MONSTERRATO weekend will take place from 2 to 3 September 2023, in the magical days of the harvest, and will be based in #Quattordio (Alessandria, Piedmont).

FRIDAY 1 SEPTEMBER: from 2 to 6 pm number pick-up at the Quattordio sports field. Payment 10 Euros for daily insurance for holders of a medical certificate of fitness for competition that are not registered


SATURDAY 2 SEPTEMBER: Second edition of LA MONSTERRATO RACE, 16th event of the Trek UCI Gravel World Series, a world circuit taking place in 4 continents. The MONSTERRATO RACE, valid as a qualifying test for the World Championship, where you can choose between 2 routes, based on the age of the participant, with a mixed surface of white roads, dirt roads and asphalt:
CUNIOLO/GERBI ROUTE, about 65 km
ELISO RIVERA ROUTE, about 126 km
The race is reserved for gravel bikes, mtb, cyclocross bikes with large and knobby tyres. Participation in the MONSTERRATO RACE is possible only for holders of a sports medical certificate of fitness for competitive cycling

SUNDAY 3 SEPTEMBER: 7/a LA MONSTERRATO-STRADE BIANCHE MONFERRATO, self-managed cycle touring, #randonnée type on the same two routes that had hosted the competitive event the day before. Free French departure between 9 and 10.
Participation in the Monsterrato-Strade Bianche Monferrato is reserved for gravel bikes, mtb, cyclocross bikes with wide tires and e-bikes. Registration is possible only for holders of a sports medical certificate of fitness for competitive cycling
